Forty five? ... How did that happen? Getting older isn't great, but there's really no good alternative. And while there are many aspects to my life that I could focus on here at this junction (family, career, etc), of course, I'm going to focus on my renewed and continued passion for BMX.
You see, I still love my BMX bike as much as I did 30 years ago. I get mad when I think about all of the lost years for the time that I quit riding, but oh well. Just gotta make up for that time. I know there are PLENTY of riders out there putting out amazing videos, especially people that show some non-stop progression. I wish I was doing that, but alas, I'm just happy to be riding as often as I can. And instead of major progression, I'm happy still being able to do some of the things I did 20yrs ago.
Anyway, here's where I'm at at 45. Hopefully at 46 I'll still be able to do this, and by then, hopefully more. Either way, I'm thankful for any time I get on the bike.
So, grab a cup of coffee or glass of beer (good beer, not cheap crap) or whatever, click full screen, sit back and prepare for middle-aged mediocre flatland!
